# Provider User Type Missing

Detects user with the “User Type” field missing. Your IDP allows you to categorize users by type. We highly recommend using this feature. Guests and API users are most likely to be missing a user type.

**Recommended Actions**

Log into your IDP's admin console and update the users with missing types. Ensure that your user-creation process includes type assignments.
