# Google Drive File with Excessive Sharing Permissions

Detects when a user has enabled overly permissive sharing settings on a Google Drive file, which can lead to unintended data exposure or unauthorized access of sensitive organizational data and information.

#### Recommended Actions

Contact the end user directly to ask them to update the file's settings immediately and remind them about your organization's data and information sharing policies.

Ask your Google Admin to update the default file sharing settings or disable external sharing completely.
