# User Account Expired

Detects user accounts whose account expiration date has passed. Expired accounts that still exist in the directory can indicate stale access that should be removed, extended with justification, or otherwise reviewed.

**Recommended Actions**

Confirm whether the account should be deprovisioned or whether its expiration should be extended for a legitimate business reason. Review group memberships, privileges, and any connected services before restoring access. Remove or disable unused expired accounts to reduce unnecessary identity exposure.
